Rice Husk ASH – Profiling as Soil Amandment
Rice Husk Ash (RHA) is a by-product obtained from the controlled combustion of rice husks, rich in silica and essential minerals. When used as a soil amendment, RHA improves soil structure, enhances water retention, and increases nutrient availability. It is particularly beneficial for sandy or acidic soils, helping plants grow stronger and more productively.
In sustainable agriculture, RHA contributes to reducing waste from rice mills while enriching the soil ecosystem and minimizing dependence on chemical fertilizers.
